Kimberly P. Taylor

President & CEO, Creative Director

Kimberly Taylor formed Taylor & Associates, LLC in February 2008 and rebranded the firm as Taylor Marketing Works simultaneously with her expansion into the Austin market in December 2014. With a move from Houston to the beautiful Texas Hill Country in 2016, Kimberly began marketing in Kerrville and the surrounding areas of Fredericksburg, Boerne, and San Antonio. Of course, she still pampers her clients in Houston and the surrounding areas. Taylor Marketing Works is pleased to continue to grow and partner with some of the finest creative traditional and digital marketing experts in Texas and beyond to bring positive results for our clients.

Throughout the company’s existence, Kimberly has been busy creating and supporting strong brands and helping clients grow their business. With a passion for B2C marketing, she specializes in strategic marketing and advertising campaigns that grow revenues. Her strong acumen for the written word is evident in her love of copywriting and publishing. In addition, she has a strong background in branding, positioning, and public relations strategies. With over 20 years in radio/TV broadcast, video production, event planning, and trade show management, Kimberly brings PR strategies to the table that are top-shelf. Her marketing experience spans the financial, healthcare, retail, restaurant, hospitality, oil & gas, energy, automotive, and legal genres.

Kimberly’s career in audio and video broadcast production allowed for involvement in productions for end-clients such as Exxon, Six Flags, Duracell Batteries, the National Dairy Board, David McDavid Honda, Gordon’s Jewelers, Redstone Golf, Turfgrass USA, Safeway grocery, Academy Sports & Outdoors (she sang on the original jingle, too!), AppleTree, The Salvation Army, First Data Corporation, TeleCheck, Ford Motors, Star Furniture, Ninfa’s Mexican Restaurants, Gallery Furniture, Houston Ballet, NutriSystem, Splashtown USA, MTV, and more. Did you know she’s a well-versed jingle singer, voiceover talent, and jazz vocalist? Listen to her voiceover demo now.

In addition, her work in industrials and film ADR allowed her to meet and work with the likes of amazing talents such as the original “Penguin,” the late Burgess Meredith, Gene Hackman, Lily Tomlin, REO Speedwagon, Mary Lou Retton, Lily Tomlin, C. Thomas Howell, Robert Goulet, the amazingly talented Ray Charles, Houston’s own “Mama” Ninfa Laurenzo, Earl “The Pearl” Campbell, Willie Nelson, the late Kenny Rogers, and the ever-quotable late Yogi Berra.

When Kimberly isn’t writing compelling copy or acting as an art/creative director, she loves to travel and explore the national parks of America, and her family stomping grounds of Ireland, Scotland, England, and France. She also enjoys all forms of needlework and building out her family tree on Ancestry.com. Her passion is in leading praise & worship as a vocalist and percussionist at The Sanctuary Church in Kerrville.

Mark Taylor

Graphic Designer | Illustrator

Mark is our award-winning graphic designer who takes the copy Kimberly writes and brings it to life in all things print and digital media, including newspaper ads, full magazine design layouts, billboards, direct mail, banners, posters, and more. He is a brilliant logo designer and helps us establish strong, memorable brands for our clients. In addition to traditional media, Mark also designs Google display ads for our online digital campaigns, ensuring that when display ads are delivered, they are visually compelling, and most importantly, click-worthy.

Mark earned a Bachelor of Fine Art, Major in Graphic Design/Minor in History from Louisiana Tech University. He has a background in architecture specifically in CAD design/drawing. In his early career, he worked for large architectural firms responsible for some of the tallest and largest buildings in downtown Houston. After achieving an additional degree in graphic design from the Art Institute of Houston, Mark worked for Natural Graphics, a sign company headquartered in Houston, Texas that designs signage for customers all across the nation. During his tenure, he was their lead designer, designing signage for exteriors as well as interior wayfinding signage for commercial and residential complexes, hospitals, banks, minor league baseball stadiums, and more.

Mark joined ExxonMobil (Exxon at the time) in 1992, and after 25 years he retired as the last man standing in ExxonMobil’s corporate Art Department. His work for ExxonMobil included designing internal brochures, booklets, posters, presentations, Intranet pages, special projects for C-suite executives, United Way campaigns, logos, and he even designed the graphics on the “Flying Tiger” airplane that previously flew at air shows all around the country for Exxon.

When Mark isn’t creating compelling visual graphics for Taylor Marketing Works, he enjoys riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle and playing bass guitar for his church’s praise & worship team at The Sanctuary Church in Kerrville. He’s our on-staff “bassman”.
